Looking for an audit role that offers more than audit alone?
A forward-thinking, award-winning accountancy practice in Northamptonshire is looking for an ambitious Audit & Accounts Senior to join its growing team.
This is a mixed position with a strong audit focus, offering the opportunity to develop your audit experience while continuing to work across accounts preparation and other areas of general practice.
The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, wants greater client responsibility, and is looking for a firm that can support their longer-term progression into management and leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking an active role in audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients
- Supporting audit work from the planning stage through to completion
- Working closely with clients and developing strong professional relationships
- Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
- Assisting with personal and corporate tax compliance where required
- Supporting and guiding junior members of the team
- Working alongside managers and partners while gradually assuming greater responsibility
- Contributing to the continued development and growth of the practice
Who We’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Relevant audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
- A sound understanding of accounts preparation and general practice work
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Able to organise assignments and work effectively as part of a team
- Ambitious and keen to progress into a more senior or managerial position
- Interested in a varied role rather than working exclusively within audit
