We are currently recruiting for an Audit Associate to join our audit team based in High Wycombe. The role will see you gain either your ACA or ACCA qualification and give you exposure to the full audit process as well as some exposure to preparation of accounts.
Brief Job Description
- Obtaining an understanding of client systems and processes
- Client and industry research to aid in planning process, including risk identification
- Completing designated assignments within a timely manner. These will cover all aspects of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account
- Analysing financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance
- Liaising with clients to attain relevant information necessary to complete audit procedures
- Assisting senior staff with complex and significant risk areas.
- Reporting and advising on identified internal control observations and misstatements to management
- Attending and performing year end stock count

Requirements for the role
The ideal Audit Associate will hold a relevant degree from a UK University (2:1 or better) or the AAT qualification. Alternatively, if the degree held is in another subject, the ability to demonstrate a clear desire to work within the accountancy profession, such as relevant work experience.
