Audit Data Analytics Senior Manager

Location: Flexible across the UK (Hybrid)

Our client is looking for an experienced Audit Data Analytics Senior Manager to lead the continued development of data analytics and AI capabilities within their audit practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic leadership, helping audit teams embrace innovative technology while delivering greater value to clients.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in driving the firm's data analytics strategy, developing new tools and methodologies, and embedding best practice across the audit function.

The Opportunity

As Audit Data Analytics Senior Manager, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the Audit Data Analytics team.
  • Provide specialist data analytics support on complex audit engagements.
  • Drive the development and adoption of AI and Generative AI solutions to enhance audit delivery.
  • Design and implement innovative data analytics tools and automated workflows.
  • Embed data analytics into audit methodology to improve consistency, quality and efficiency.
  • Develop learning programmes and technical resources to build capability across the audit practice.
  • Research, evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance audit quality.
  • Establish governance, quality assurance and compliance frameworks for audit analytics.
  • Work closely with audit teams and senior leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

About You

You'll be a technically strong audit professional with a passion for data, technology and improving audit quality.

You'll ideally have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Several years' post-qualified experience within external audit, audit methodology or a technical audit environment.
  • Recent experience using audit data analytics software.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodology and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Power BI or comparable data visualisation platforms.
  • Knowledge of low-code development platforms.
  • An interest in AI and machine learning applications within audit.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
