Meraki talent is working with a leading CA firm to assist with the appointment of a new Audit Director or Partner to the business.
This position is open to Audit Directors who are looking at making that first move to Partner also, and the firm will assess each case individually.

The Role:
The position will focus on Audit services, with a driving desire to focus on the local community but with an already established far-reaching portfolio covering East Lothian, central Edinburgh, and the Scottish borders.

The Audit Director/Partner will oversee the full Audit function including taking the lead on managing the portfolio of clients from a variety of sectors, overseeing all aspects of client engagement whilst driving revenue growth across existing and new service offerings, maximising cross-selling opportunities.
The position is open to those operating at a senior level at present, either Senior Manager on to Director or Director on to Partner.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic and financial responsibility for the management of the audit function
- Ensuring the high-quality provision of audit compliance
- Management and growth of a portfolio of audit clients
- Responsible for department and business structure, maximising employee performance and delivery
- Responsible for the growth of the audit portfolio through existing network and business development

Experience:
As Audit Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of financial information, thereby contributing to the credibility and trustworthiness of the firm and its clients.
- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) qualification
- A proven history of leading Audit portfolios, and Audit teams
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining trusted client relationships
- Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop teams
- A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial outlook and the ambition to step into a leadership and ownership role
