Our client is a major international professional services network with operations across more than 100 countries. Its global team supports member firms with quality, risk, governance and operational excellence, providing an opportunity to work across jurisdictions and influence standards and best practice internationally.

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Inspections Manager to join the Global Quality & Risk team. The role will support the delivery of a worldwide audit inspections programme, coordinating inspections across multiple countries and working closely with local inspection leaders and global audit teams. You will also analyse inspection outcomes, identify emerging themes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of inspection methodologies and quality standards.

Day to Day Activities

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of the annual global inspections programme
  • Manage inspection schedules, resources, milestones and key stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
  • Provide guidance to inspection teams on methodology, policies and programme requirements
  • Review inspection documentation and outputs for quality, consistency and compliance
  • Analyse inspection findings to identify trends, recurring issues and emerging risks
  • Produce reporting and presentations for senior leadership and governance committees
  • Monitor remediation activity following inspection findings
  • Support the development of inspection methodology, guidance, tools and training

  • Significant external audit, audit quality or inspections experience, ideally gained within a major professional services firm
  • Strong understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and audit quality management principles
  • Experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple senior stakeholders, ideally across different countries

Qualifications & Skills Needed

  • Professional audit or accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, project management and communication skills with the ability to identify themes and produce clear reporting
  • Confident working with international stakeholders across different jurisdictions and cultures
