About the Opportunity
An established and growing independent accountancy practice based in North West London is looking to recruit an ambitious Audit Graduate to join its expanding audit and assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate seeking to begin a rewarding career in accountancy and professional services. You will gain exposure to a broad range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger organisations across various sectors, while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments.
- Carrying out substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
- Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Reviewing financial records and identifying areas requiring further investigation.
- Supporting senior team members throughout audit engagements.
- Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and financial reporting requirements.
- Ensuring work is completed in line with professional and regulatory standards.
- Developing technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.

Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic background and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in audit and accountancy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop professionally.
