Audit Manager - Tonbridge
As an Audit Manager in Tonbridge, you'll play a key role in leading audits and ensuring the smooth running of engagements from start to finish.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established accountancy firm in Tonbridge. They are keen to recruit a candidate with extensive experience in audit with some working knowledge of accounts prep and tax returns.
Description
- Lead and manage audits, ensuring they are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
- Review and prepare financial statements in line with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to address audit findings and provide actionable insights.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships and address their queries effectively.
- Prepare complex personal and corporate tax returns.

Profile
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
- Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting.
- Experience preparing tax returns.
- Experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- A proactive and organised approach to managing workloads.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary of £55,000 to £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
