An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive and supportive firm. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, and play a key role in developing and mentoring junior team members.
- Working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders, you will be instrumental in maintaining high service standards while contributing to the ongoing growth of the audit function.

Description
- Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to final sign-off
- Reviewing audit files and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying audit risks and providing practical solutions
- Managing budgets, timelines, and engagement profitability
- Supporting, coaching, and developing junior members of the team
- Working alongside senior leadership on business development initiatives and strategic projects
Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous experience managing audits within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and financial reporting standards
- Demonstrable experience supervising and developing staff
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service
