Audit Manager

Build Your Career with a Firm That Invests in People

We're looking for an experienced Audit Manager to become an integral part of a growing audit team based in the Cheltenham area.

This is an opportunity to join a firm that values collaboration, professional development and long-term client relationships. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio while working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment that encourages progression.

Whether you're looking to broaden your technical expertise, develop future leaders or work with an interesting mix of businesses, this role offers plenty of variety and the chance to make a genuine impact.

The Role

As an Audit Manager, you'll take responsibility for delivering a wide range of audit assignments, ensuring clients receive a high-quality service and your team has the guidance they need to succeed.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors.
  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing audit engagements from start to finish.
  • Acting as the main contact for clients, providing clear advice and building trusted working relationships.
  • Reviewing audit work, financial statements and reports before completion.
  • Managing budgets, deadlines and resources to ensure assignments are delivered efficiently.
  • Supporting and developing junior team members through coaching, feedback and on-the-job mentoring.
  • Working closely with senior leadership on technical matters and client planning.
  • Spotting opportunities to introduce additional services that could benefit existing clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
