Audit Manager
The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality service to clients in the professional services industry.

Our client is a well-established and growing independent accountancy practice based in Leeds. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit, accounting, and advisory services, the firm supports a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors.
Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager to join their expanding team.
Description
As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients and leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. This is a key role within the firm, offering the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and contribute to the development of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
- Leading audits from planning through to completion and final review
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing technical guidance
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and audit regulations
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and adding value to clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Assisting senior leadership with business development initiatives

You Will
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Have a strong audit background within an accountancy practice
- Possess experience managing audits and leading teams
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of audit and accounting standards
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Show a proactive and commercial approach to client service
