Audit Manager - Consumer Markets - Top 10 Firm - City of London

Are you an ambitious Audit Manager ready to take ownership of a high-profile portfolio of consumer sector clients within a collaborative Top 10 Firm?

As an Audit Manager you will:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of Consumer Markets clients, including complex consolidated corporate groups, ensuring optimised workflow delivery and portfolio profitability.
  • Conduct structured pre-audit meetings with clients to assess operational changes, mitigate risks, and establish targeted areas of focus before fieldwork begins.
  • Direct resource allocation and oversee job-specific time budgets to ensure assignment delivery aligns with office profitability targets.
  • Lead staff development initiatives, including executing comprehensive six-monthly appraisals, signing off official training records, and providing structured post-assignment performance feedback for trainees.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for comprehensive professional services and proactively target new client acquisitions through strategic networking and marketing initiatives.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Hold a full ACA or ACCA qualification alongside substantial experience operating within a professional public practice environment.
  • Demonstrate proven experience working at the Manager grade, specifically handling complex consolidated groups and corporate audit methodologies.
  • Possess technical proficiency utilising accountancy and professional software packages
