Audit Partner
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Competitive package, dependent on experience
Are you an experienced audit leader looking for the opportunity to shape the future of a growing professional services team? This is a senior leadership opportunity with a well-established organisation within the accountancy sector, offering the chance to influence strategy, develop client relationships, and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful practice.
The organisation is investing heavily in its future growth plans and is seeking an ambitious Audit Partner to strengthen its presence in Birmingham. This role would suit an experienced Director ready to progress into partnership, or an established Partner looking for a new challenge within a forward-thinking environment.
As an Audit Partner, you will combine technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership capability to deliver high-quality audit services while supporting the continued expansion of the audit function. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, enhance client delivery, and develop a high-performing team.

- Leading a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and client service
- Providing technical guidance across complex audit assignments and supporting best practice across the team
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors
- Identifying opportunities for growth through business development and networking activity
- Supporting the development, mentoring, and progression of audit professionals
- Contributing to wider strategic discussions and helping influence the future direction of the practice
- Working collaboratively with senior leadership to strengthen market presence in Birmingham
What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Registered Individual (RI) status with proven audit signing experience
- Strong background in a senior audit position within a professional services environment
- Extensive technical audit knowledge with a strong focus on quality and compliance
- Experience leading and developing teams effectively
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and support business opportunities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- Previous experience at Director level or within a Partner role would be advantageous
