The Role

This is a role for an auditor who has run engagements and is ready for a very different next chapter. Your job is to bring firms onto RobotX and make them successful with it: open the door, get them live, embed the product in how their teams actually work, and grow usage across offices, service lines and audit cycles. You’ll work closely with leadership and the team: sitting in partner meetings, preparing proposals and business cases, running pilots end to end, and over time leading firm relationships in your own right. It’s an exciting role and there’s never a dull day: one week you are in a partner meeting, the next you are in a file with an audit team working out how to make a procedure run cleanly. If you have ever sat in a file at midnight thinking there has to be a better way, this is your chance to build it.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead onboarding and pilots: scope pilots with audit partners and methodology teams, define success, run the pilot, and turn results into a rollout decision
  • Grow adoption inside the firm: drive usage team by team and office by office, build internal champions, and deliver training that lands because it comes from someone who’s done the job
  • Be the commercial partner on the account: build business cases in the language partners use, quantify hours saved and quality gains, and shape proposals for new firms and expansion
  • Bring the auditor’s voice into the product: tell our product and engineering teams what a senior actually needs on a Thursday night before the file is due
  • Represent RobotX in the market: join leadership and the team at industry events and in conversations with methodology and technology teams at client firms

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You’ll Bring

  • Manager experience (or recently promoted Senior Manager) in external audit, or you trained and qualified in audit and have since moved into Transaction Services, deals or consulting
  • Trained and qualified at a top 50 or Big Four firm, with a network across UK audit firms; ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent. Audit experience is essential: you have lived the busy-season pain yourself, and that is exactly what makes you credible to the teams you will work with
  • Strong working knowledge of ISAs (UK), FRS 102 and firm methodologies, and how partners think about engagement margin, staffing and quality risk
  • Comfortable in a room with partners, heads of audit and methodology leads
  • Based in London or willing to relocate, with regular travel to client offices
  • German is a plus, as are other European languages such as French or Italian
  • Experience working with AI tools or agents in your audit work is a plus
  • A problem solver with a can-do attitude, proactive, naturally curious, and excited about changing and improving the role of the auditor

How We Work

You’ll spend a good deal of time with clients, at their offices and on calls. Between those commitments, you work from wherever you’re most effective. We work with a high degree of autonomy, take the initiative, adapt quickly, and solve problems rather than wait for instructions. If you see something that needs doing, you do it, and the team will back you.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary benchmarked against your current audit firm grade, plus a variable component tied to account growth and client outcomes
  • Share options in an independent, founder-led company at the stage where options still matter
  • A workplace pension, a learning budget and the equipment to work well from anywhere, with the budget split however works best for you
  • Real influence over how this role takes shape, working close to the leadership team, and the kind of ownership you won’t get inside a firm for another decade

How to Apply

Apply directly or send a short note and your CV to careers@robotx.eu. Tell us about one thing in an audit process you’d automate first, and why. Expect a first conversation, a working session on a real audit scenario, and a meeting with our founder, all within three weeks.

About RobotX

RobotX was built by auditors for auditors. We know what a busy season does to a team, so we built software that takes the repetitive work out of the file. Our automation runs tests of details and matches evidence to working papers in the format each firm’s methodology expects, with the auditor reviewing and approving before anything is committed to the file. It has run in live audit files since 2017, from Big Four member firms to mid-market networks and boutiques, and audit teams across Europe now rely on it every year. Teams get their evenings back, reviewers get cleaner files, and partners get an audit they can stand behind. We’re a product-driven scale-up headquartered in Rotterdam, independent and founder-led, growing fast with a deliberately small team where everyone has real ownership. Our agent layer is now in early access with a select group of partner firms, and the next few years will be the most exciting in the company’s history. This role sits right at the center of them.
