About the role...
Looking to spend your placement year in Audit? Are you naturally curious, always asking questions, and keen to understand how things work?
We offer a pathway that supports your growth and helps you work towards becoming a qualified accountant.
Our Audit teams are based in our East Midlands and Birmingham office. As an Audit placement student, you’ll be part of a collaborative team, supporting the delivery of statutory audits for a wide range of clients. You’ll gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and contribute to work that really matters.
This role will begin in early September 2027 and the Assessment Centres will take place on 4th November, 26th January, and 30th March.

- You’ll be currently studying an undergraduate degree, looking for a placement year as part of your 4-year programme
- You’ll need a minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grades BBC, including at least one numerical or business-related subject.

- Can manage multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure
- Are enthusiastic about Audit and motivated to succeed – both in the role and in their qualification journey
About the day to day…
- Reviewing and documenting client information like invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports
- Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data
- Attending client year-end stocktakes (sometimes on weekends or around Christmas)
- Communicating with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements using our audit software
- Working in small teams to carry out financial testing and contribute to audit reports
- Meeting deadlines and supporting your team to deliver high-quality work
