Audit Semi-Senior – Brighton
In this role, you'll work on a variety of audit assignments for clients across different sectors, getting involved in planning, fieldwork and completion while progressing towards taking greater ownership of engagements.

We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Brighton that's looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing team. It's a great opportunity for someone who's already gained some audit experience and wants to join a firm where they can continue studying, build their technical knowledge and gradually progress towards leading assignments.

The Role
You'll work closely with experienced Seniors and Managers, with responsibilities including:
- Assisting with audits from initial planning through to completion
- Completing audit fieldwork across a varied client portfolio
- Preparing audit working papers and documentation
- Liaising directly with clients and requesting information
- Identifying and discussing audit issues with senior team members
- Supporting and gradually supervising junior members of the team
- Assisting with statutory accounts where required
- Taking responsibility for more complex audit areas as you develop

About You
We're keen to hear from candidates with previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice. Around 1-3 years' experience would be ideal, and you may already be studying towards ACA/ACCA. The firm can provide study support alongside plenty of practical experience to help you progress towards Senior level.
