The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will step beyond the numbers to build real, impactful client relationships. Working across a diverse portfolio of clients, you will act as a trusted advisor—understanding their business operations, identifying risks, and delivering actionable commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist on audit assignments from planning through to completion for a broad client portfolio.
  • Act as the key day-to-day point of contact for clients, developing a deep commercial understanding of their businesses.
  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate work effectively to junior audit staff.
  • Utilize modern audit and accounts software (Excel, Sage, CaseWare, Alpha Tax, VPM/Central) to deliver efficient results.

What We’re Looking For

Qualification: ACA / ACCA newly qualified, or advanced part-qualified with substantial practice experience.

Experience: Proven audit background within a UK accountancy practice.

Leadership: Supervisory experience with the ability to manage team members and delegate tasks effectively.

Commercial Mindset: Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach.

Communication & Management: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with top-tier organizational abilities to juggle multiple client engagements simultaneously.
