We're looking for an Audit Senior to join a collaborative audit team in a mid-tier accountancy firm, working with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

As an Audit Senior, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion while building strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading audit assignments across a varied client portfolio.
  • Planning audits and overseeing fieldwork.
  • Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
  • Supervising, coaching, and reviewing the work of junior auditors.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high technical standard, on time, and within budget.

About You

You'll ideally be:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified).
  • Experienced within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Confident leading audits and working directly with clients.
  • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience of Xero, Sage, Caseware, or CCH being advantageous.
  • Proactive, organised, and keen to continue developing your career.
