Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join our expanding team in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with audit experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, taking ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, while building trusted relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Planning, leading, and completing audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
- Managing audits from initial planning through to final completion and reporting.
- Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for clients throughout audit engagements.
- Identifying risk areas and ensuring audits are completed in line with relevant auditing standards.
- Preparing and reviewing audit files and supporting documentation.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior members of the audit team.
- Working closely with managers and partners to deliver outstanding client service.
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation where required.
- Identifying opportunities to add value and provide wider business advice to clients.
- Ensuring assignments are delivered on time and within budget.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are looking for a motivated and technically capable individual who enjoys working collaboratively and building strong client relationships.
Ideally, you'll have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification, or be nearing completion of your studies.
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong external audit experience across a variety of client sectors.
- Good knowledge of UK auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Experience leading audit fieldwork and supervising junior staff.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
