Audit Senior – North London (Office-Based)

Cherry Professional is delighted to be working with a well-established firm of accountants in North London who is looking to hire a qualified Audit Senior to join their expanding audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor to work on large, high-profile clients and progress quickly in a supportive, career-focused environment.
The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audits from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners to deliver a high-quality service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading on-site audit assignments for a portfolio of larger audit clients
- Planning audits, identifying and assessing risk, and designing audit approaches
- Supervising and coaching junior team members on fieldwork
- Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is completed to firm and regulatory standards
- Building strong relationships with client finance teams and key stakeholders
- Supporting managers/partners with audit completion, reporting, and client queries

About You
To be considered, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Full accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong, recent experience in external audit within an accountancy practice
- Confidence leading audits and working with larger / more complex clients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to supervise and develop juniors
- A preference for (and ability to commit to) an office-based role in North London
