Are you an experienced auditor looking to join a highly respected and growing accountancy practice where your development is genuinely supported?

A well-established and forward-thinking organisation within the accountancy sector is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join its expanding team. The Opportunity

As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with clients across a variety of sectors. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting services while supporting and developing junior team members.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Managing audit fieldwork and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements
  • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Identifying technical issues and providing practical solutions
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues
  • Collaborating with managers and partners on complex assignments and advisory projects

What We're Looking For

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Previous experience working within a UK practice environment
  • Strong external audit experience with exposure to a varied client base
  • Good understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and client relationship-building abilities
  • Experience reviewing work and supervising junior team members
  • A proactive approach with a genuine desire to develop your career within the accountancy profession
