Description

  • Plan, perform, and complete audit assignments in line with relevant standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide audit findings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  • Identify and resolve audit-related issues during engagements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit regulations and accounting practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
  • Assist in the development of audit strategies and methodologies.

Profile

A Successful Audit Senior Should Have

  • Fully qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA.
  • Experience auditing an SME client base (up to £50m t/o).
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
