Audit Senior / Assistant Manager – Reading
£45,000 - £60,000 | Progression
In this role, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working directly with clients while supporting and developing junior members of the audit team.

We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Reading that's continuing to grow and is looking for an Audit Senior or Audit Assistant Manager to join the team.

The Role
You'll work with a varied portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Managing fieldwork and ensuring assignments stay on track
- Reviewing work completed by trainees and semi seniors
- Coaching and supporting junior team members
- Liaising directly with clients throughout the audit process
- Identifying issues and discussing these with managers and partners
- Building your technical knowledge while taking on greater responsibility

About You
You'll ideally have solid audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice and be ACA/ACCA qualified.
Previous Assistant Manager experience isn't essential – this could equally suit an experienced Audit Senior ready to take the next step.
