Banking Audit Senior responsibilities include:

  • Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them
  • Monitor the progress of jobs, ensuring that budgets and deadlines are managed appropriately
  • Responsible for final analytical reviews
  • Draft letters to clients in relation to the audit/accounts
  • Preparation or review of financial statements
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to more junior staff - give detailed help and training as required, to enhance future effectiveness

As a Banking Audit Senior, you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
  • Preferably have working knowledge of Caseware or Sage
  • Have experience of external auditing of Financial Services Clients
  • Have experience of external auditing of listed corporations under IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Ideally have audited large, consolidated group structures
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the Banking sector
