Banking Audit Senior responsibilities include:
- Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them
- Monitor the progress of jobs, ensuring that budgets and deadlines are managed appropriately
- Responsible for final analytical reviews
- Draft letters to clients in relation to the audit/accounts
- Preparation or review of financial statements
- Provide technical advice and guidance to more junior staff - give detailed help and training as required, to enhance future effectiveness
As a Banking Audit Senior, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
- Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
- Preferably have working knowledge of Caseware or Sage
- Have experience of external auditing of Financial Services Clients
- Have experience of external auditing of listed corporations under IFRS and UK GAAP
- Ideally have audited large, consolidated group structures
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the Banking sector
