Are you an exam finalist or newly qualified Auditor looking to take the next step in your career with a highly respected Top 20 accountancy practice?
Our client is a leading UK firm with a strong regional presence, an impressive client portfolio, and a reputation for developing talented professionals. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Audit Senior to join their Manchester office.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, large corporates, and not-for-profit organisations while gaining exposure to complex assignments and developing your leadership skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- β Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- β Managing on-site and remote fieldwork, ensuring audits are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- β Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK accounting standards.
- β Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- β Supervising, coaching and mentoring junior members of the audit team.
- β Identifying risk areas and providing practical solutions to clients.
- β Working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver exceptional client service.
- β Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the firm's continued growth.

About You
- β ACA or ACCA newly qualified (or finalist with strong experience).
- β Experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.
- β Strong understanding of audit processes, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- β Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- β Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements.
- β Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop towards management level.
