Description
Key Responsibilities of an Audit Senior:
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Review audit work completed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
- Support, coach, and mentor trainees and junior staff to aid their development.
- Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations for management review.
- Work closely with senior leadership on larger and more complex audit engagements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the ongoing growth of the audit department.
- Ensure assignments are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high professional standard.

Profile
The successful candidate will have previous external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice and will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or actively studying towards qualification. They will be a proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills, capable of managing their own workload, building trusted client relationships, and delivering high-quality work to deadlines.
