A growing and ambitious independent accountancy practice in Cheshire is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its leadership team.
Description
Key responsibilities of the Audit Senior Manager:
- Managing a portfolio of audit and audit/accounts clients across a range of sectors.
- Leading audits from planning through to completion.
- Reviewing statutory accounts, audit files, and associated client work.
- Building strong and lasting client relationships.
- Providing practical, commercial advice to owner-managed businesses.
- Managing, coaching, and developing junior team members.
- Supporting business development initiatives and identifying growth opportunities.
- Contributing to strategic decision-making within the firm.

Profile
A Successful Audit Senior Manager Should
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Have substantial experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Have either:
- A predominantly audit background; or
- Experience across both audit and accounts.
- Possess strong technical and client-facing skills.
- Have experience managing teams and reviewing work.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and leadership potential.
- Be motivated by the opportunity to progress to RI and Partnership level.
- Able to work from the firm's Nantwich office.
