We’re BDO. An accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world.
We work with the companies that are Britain’s economic engine – ambitious, entrepreneurially-spirited and high growth businesses that fuel the economy – and directly advise the owners and management teams leading them.
We’ll broaden your horizons
Learning and Development (L&D) is a key enabler of our strategy as an Audit Stream and critical to our success. It supports our ability to attract, develop and retain talented people who take pride in their work and successfully deliver for our business. Effective L&D underpins quality and productivity by supporting our people to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their work, helping them reach their personal and professional potential.
Effective L&D does not happen by chance. It requires specialist resources who partner with the Audit Stream to identify training needs and appropriately respond to them. Careful planning and project management are necessary, as are a critical-thinking and commercial mindset, and an understanding of regulatory requirements. Effective L&D needs consideration of the latest innovation, tools and technology to support development of leading personal and professional development that is tailored, relevant and timely for our people.
We are looking for a talented, high performing and ambitious individual to join our Learning Implementation team on a medium-term temporary basis to support the effective delivery of our programmes. The role would suit both those with previous experience in similar roles who may be looking for a new opportunity and those looking for their next foray into learning implementation and who wish to leverage their project management, problem-solving and relationship skills in a new role.
The role can be based anywhere in the UK. Travel to the London office, where the majority of the Audit L&D team is based, as well as some travel to other offices and external venues, will be required. Certain support on or delivery of courses will require residential stays.
Learning Implementation team (LI)
Learning Implementation aims to provide our learners with the best possible learning experience. It is the team responsible for ensuring that our learning programmes are delivered effectively, leading on overall project, risk, financial and commercial management of our programmes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
