Job Description

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently? Do you enjoy visiting customer sites, building professional relationships and ensuring accuracy in your work? We are recruiting an Auditor to work on behalf of Chep. £19.50 per call plus all business mileage.

Ideal location: Bridgnorth, United Kingdom, TF1

Territory covering: Birmingham, Chester, Dudley, Telford, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas

CPM is looking for a CHEP Asset Auditor to carry out independent physical audits of CHEP equipment across a designated territory. This is a field-based role where you'll be responsible for verifying customer asset holdings, identifying discrepancies and providing accurate reporting that supports effective asset management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working autonomously, travelling within their region and engaging with a wide variety of customer environments, including retail, distribution and manufacturing sites.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct scheduled physical audits of CHEP equipment at customer locations.
  • Accurately count and verify assets and identify and document discrepancies between physical stock and available records.
  • Effectively plan travel, site visits and appointments across your assigned territory.
  • Build positive working relationships with stakeholders across retail, distribution, manufacturing and operational environments.
  • Handle objections, access challenges and sensitive conversations professionally and confidently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
