Auditor Manager

As an Auditor Manager in the professional services industry, you will oversee audit engagements, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Based in Newport, you'll play a vital role in managing client relationships and supporting the accounting and finance team.

Description

  • Manage and lead audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Oversee the work of audit teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries and concerns effectively.
  • Review and finalise audit reports, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Assist in staff training and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the accounting and finance team to deliver seamless services.

Profile

A Successful Auditor Manager Should Have

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Proven experience in managing audit engagements and teams.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience within the professional services industry is advantageous.
