Senior Associate | Corporate Transactions & Advisory | Sydney | 5+ PQE
I'm currently partnering with a top-tier global law firm on a targeted search for a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its market-leading Corporate Transactions & Advisory practice in Sydney.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded corporate lawyer looking to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions for multinational corporates, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and listed companies.
The role will involve:
- Advising on public and private M&A transactions, disposals, and corporate restructurings
- Acting on private equity investments and exits
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including share sale, shareholders', and subscription agreements
- Leading legal due diligence processes and managing transaction workstreams
- Advising on corporate governance, directors' duties, and regulatory compliance
- Working closely with major corporate and private equity clients on strategic transactions
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers while developing client relationships
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the practice
