About SimpleStudy
One of the fastest-growing exam revision apps, helping secondary students get the results they're capable of. Expert-led, exam-specific resources plus AI revision tools, used by 1.4 million students across 5 markets. Small team, ridiculous speed– recently raised a ~$4M seed round with incredible investors from Strava, OpenAI + Meta. If you want a title and a lane, we're not it. If you want to own a market end to end, this one's for you.
The role
SimpleStudy is built for specific exams, not another GPT wrapper — so local depth is everything. We want someone who lives and breathes the Australian exam system to own our growth there, and to make sure the product genuinely fits how Australian students study, revise and sit their exams. You'll be the advocate for the Australian student inside the company: the ear on the ground that shapes how we show up and what we build.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll own
- Acquisition — organic growth in Australia: influencer, ambassador and referral programs, and the creator/UGC pipeline behind them. You'll plug into a team of acquisition superstars across Ireland, the UK, South Africa and Brazil, all building toward one thing: the world's biggest study brand.
- Product-market fit — pressure-test whether the product delivers for Australian students, talk to them directly, and turn the gaps into clear, buildable briefs for product and engineering. You own the insight and the concept; they build it.
Who you are
Non-negotiables
- Australian, or grew up inside the Australian secondary-school and exam system — you know the HSC/VCE and state systems from lived experience.
- Based in Europe. (Australia-based applicants can't be considered.)

What you bring
- Real end-to-end ownership of a market, funnel or channel.
- Hands-on acquisition experience: influencer, ambassador/referral or organic social (bonus if you're fluent in TikTok-native content).
- Customer obsession and product instinct — student interviews and feedback loops turned into buildable product briefs.
- Comfort with product/funnel analytics (e.g. Mixpanel) — enough to spot where the product loses students.
- Follow-through and adaptability in a role that'll change shape as the market grows.
Above all, we hire for five things: drive, ownership, accountability, adaptability and follow-through.
