We are offering an opportunity for a registered nurse, AHP or social worker to join our multi-disciplinary team.
We want to hear from you if you are highly committed to working with adults without a learning disability who have a diagnosis of autism.
About the Role
The Autism Intensive Support Team work with autistic people who are reaching crisis and may otherwise require an admission to hospital or may be at risk of a placement breakdown.
The team enhance the support that is already provided by services and can contribute and support the management of risk, care and safety planning. We can also provide training to other people involved in the person’s care.
Key Responsibilities
- The main areas for this post will be Liverpool and Sefton, however the service is also based across Knowsley, Halton, St Helens and Warrington so the ability to travel is essential.
- The post holder will work as part of our team and would be responsible for supporting Autism Intensive Support Team.
- You will provide person-centred support and recommendations whilst working alongside our mental health colleagues to best support engagement for autistic people with these mental health services.
