Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Contract to Permanent
Day Shift Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Auto Electrician Technician with strong automotive diagnostic and electronic systems knowledge?
In this Auto Electrician Technician position, you will play a key role in supporting vehicle commissioning, diagnostics, electrical build and repair activities throughout the production process. You will work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring vehicles meet required standards before completion.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Commissioning vehicles throughout assembly, trim and end-of-line production stages
- Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and electronic vehicle faults
- Using specialist diagnostic equipment and technical documentation to investigate issues
- Supporting electrical build and repair operations across the manufacturing environment
- Interpreting wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
- Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation
- Identifying recurring faults and supporting permanent corrective actions
- Driving improvements to commissioning, diagnostic and electrical repair processes

The Ideal Auto Electrician Technician Will Have
- Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
- Experience within a vehicle manufacturing or production environment
- Proven electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical information
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
