Pay Rate: £19.00 – £22.00 per hour (Depending on experience/qualifications)
Tax Status: Outside IR35 (Paid via Limited Company or Umbrella)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Family-friendly hours) + Optional Weekend Overtime (Premium Rate)
Security Clearance: NVVP1 and SC Clearance Required (Must be eligible to achieve)
Contract Type: Contracting – Ongoing
About the Role
E-ppl Ltd is seeking skilled Auto Electricians / Electrical Vehicle Technicians to join our dedicated team on-site. As a leading supplier of Managed Services within the automotive industry, we provide specialist support to premium clients executing high-profile vehicle conversions.
Stepping away from basic vehicle maintenance, you will work alongside a highly skilled engineering team to deliver bespoke modifications, electrical builds, and complete conversions for essential services—including the Police, Fire, and Ambulance fleets.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Systems & Integration: Fit, repair, install, and integrate enhanced automotive electrical and electronic systems, including custom loom building and circuit modifications.
- Diagnostics & Rectification: Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, execute complex fault finding, and develop custom electrical solutions.
- Modern Powertrains: Work directly with advanced, next-generation vehicular technologies, including P/HEV and M/HEV platforms.
- Conversions & Fitment: Perform full end-to-end vehicle conversions, including interior/exterior trim removal, glass fitment upgrades, light mechanical tasks, and general build modifications.
- Safety & Standards: Execute all work strictly to vehicle build specifications while taking responsible care for Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible and capable of obtaining NVVP1 and SC Security Clearance.

Qualifications
- High school diploma plus a formal Auto Electrical Qualification Certificate (or equivalent).

- Proven track record as an Auto Electrician working on complex vehicular systems, custom conversions, or commercial fleets.
