Job Description

Derakal Technologies Pvt., Ltd., is looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our design team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and drafting LT electrical control panels and preparing manufacturing drawings. The role involves working closely with the design, production, and project teams to deliver accurate and high-quality drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings for electrical control panels.
  • Prepare SLD (Single Line Diagram), power and control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Develop panel layout, mounting plate layout, and terminal plans.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and cable schedules.
  • Revise drawings based on customer comments and site requirements.
  • Coordinate with production and wiring teams during panel manufacturing.
  • Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and customer specifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma/B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in electrical control panel design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in designing MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD, AMF, ATS, APFC, and other LT control panels.
  • Good understanding of electrical components such as MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and customer specifications.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of IEC 61439 standards.
  • Experience with Siemens, Schneider, ABB, L&T, or similar electrical components.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive approach.
