Job Title: AutoCAD / Revit Technician (Modular Buildings)

Location: Measham, DE12 (In-person)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Pickerings

Pickerings delivers complete Design & Build packages, providing high-quality temporary, semi-permanent, and permanent modular buildings for hire or sale across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored, innovative spatial solutions for our clients. As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled AutoCAD / Revit Technician to join our team in Measham.

Role Overview

As an AutoCAD / Revit Technician, you will act as a key technical link between our sales, procurement, and workshop construction teams. You will translate customer briefs into clear, high-quality 2D and 3D technical designs used throughout the sales, estimating, assembly, and off-site manufacturing phases.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your drawings directly influence real-world modular construction delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Design: Produce accurate 2D layouts and 3D models for modular buildings and portable cabins using AutoCAD and Revit based on specific customer briefs.
  • Material Scheduling: Generate clear schedules, material take-offs, and component lists directly from designs to support procurement and production teams.
  • BIM Library Development: Create, update, and maintain internal BIM families and product libraries to streamline project workflows.
  • Sales Support & Value Engineering: Collaborate with the sales team to develop strong, practical design solutions that help secure winning bids while keeping production costs optimized.
  • Manufacturing Support: Amend and issue construction-ready drawings to ensure smooth, efficient assembly on the workshop floor.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with internal standard operating procedures, UK Building Regulations, and modern off-site construction standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
