The Role
We are seeking an AutoCAD Technician to join our Architectural Firescreens team. The primary purpose of this role is to produce accurate technical drawings and documentation for fire screen projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys working closely with colleagues within a small friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce production drawings and technical details from site surveys and architectural drawings for manufacture and installation.
- Record and maintain accurate correspondence and project communications.
- Produce procurement schedules for materials required for each contract.
- Manage the initial design stage of projects.
- Provide technical support and advice to external account managers, architects and customers.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contracts teams and subcontractors.
- Capture customer feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Logikal software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Desirable
- Background in metalwork, steel doors, screens or architectural glazing systems.
- Experience within the interiors or partitioning industry.
