Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Salary: National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage
Holiday: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Operating as a franchised dealer for MG and Vauxhall, as well as a Ford Authorised Repairer, T Wall provides vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs across a wide range of cars and vans. The business is committed to investing in its facilities, its people and the development of the next generation of automotive technicians.
They are now looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Autocare Technician to join their experienced workshop team.

GTG Training are recruiting for an Apprentice Autocare Technician on behalf of T Wall Garages. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are ready to advance their career within the automotive industry.
The Apprenticeship Programmes allow apprentices to work full time and earn while they learn putting theory into practice within a training environment.

You will train through GTG Wolverhampton, by attending block release training weeks, to achieve Level 2 Autocare. Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure you have the required skills to successfully complete your apprenticeship.

What Might a Typical Day in this Job look like?
You will be based within the garage workshop and will be involved in learning all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, including vehicle servicing, MOT preparation, removal, replacement and overhaul of major components and electrical fault diagnostics.
Examples of the units covered are:
- Materials, fabrication, tools and measuring devices used in the automotive environment
- Inspection of light vehicles
- Diagnosing and rectifying chassis units and components
- Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle engines and component faults
- Ensuring your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
- Contributing to workplace good housekeeping

What will I learn?
Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace with dedicated mentors from GTG and the apprentice’s workplace, which aims to ensure you have the required skills to successfully complete your apprenticeship.
What qualifications or qualities are required?
- Qualifications: GCSE 4/Level 2 or above in Maths, English
- Qualities:
- Candidates who want to kickstart their career in the automotive industry and who are keen to learn.
- Dedicated with a proactive approach to work and learning.
- Ability to prioritise and work to timelines.
- Willingness to work in a practical environment using your own initiative.
- A full UK Driving licence is not essential but preferred.
