Requirements

As an experienced Automatic Gate/Door Engineer, you will have a strong electro-mechanical background.

  • Ability to fault find and repair automatic gates and doors.
  • Ideally you will have a recognised electrical qualification such as 17th/ 18th edition.
  • DHF or Gate Safe Accredited would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Willing to undergo training to achieve recognised industry qualifications.
  • You will be a hardworking, self-motivated field service engineer/ technician.
  • Good attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and other members of the team effectively.

  • Managing a large portfolio of buildings
  • Keeping automated gates maintained and safe for use.
  • Reporting & Certification creation
  • Correctly identify any remedial or repair works required using technical knowledge and a deep understanding of British Standards. Accuracy and attention to detail is important for this activity given that the information provided will be used to generate certifications, quotations and/or undertake follow up work.
  • Servicing and repairs
  • To be flexible to attend the main office in Loughton, Essex as required.
