About the Role

The interviews are expected to be held on the 9th September 2026.

Two full time roles available: both working on a fixed term contract until the 31 July 2028

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements

As part of the University’s Digital Transformation, we are investing in AI-enabled and automated platforms to improve productivity, support innovation, and provide equitable access to modern digital tools for staff and students.

We are seeking an AI and Automation Systems Senior Engineer to join the Power Platform and Automation team. This is an investment area with new roles supporting the expansion and effective use of AI and automation platforms across the University. Our ambition is to enable staff and students to adopt AI-enabled tools and automations that deliver real benefit, while ensuring platforms are operated safely, securely, and in line with agreed standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
