Our client, a manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced AI & Automation Consultant to lead the implementation of automation across a key enquiry-to-quotation process.

The discovery work has already been completed. The customer journey has been mapped and the automation opportunities have been identified.

The challenge now is execution.

This role will focus on designing and implementing practical automation solutions that improve customer responsiveness, eliminate manual administration, increase process visibility, and create a scalable platform for future growth.

The Opportunity

Working closely with commercial, estimating, and operational teams, you will be responsible for delivering automated workflows across the enquiry management process, leveraging AI, workflow automation, and CRM technologies.

You will help transform how enquiries are received, assessed, qualified, and progressed through to quotation, ensuring information is captured accurately and routed efficiently while reducing the burden on operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows across the enquiry-to-quotation process.
• Automate document capture, storage, and tender pack management.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions to extract and categorize information from customer enquiries and supporting documentation.
• Automate opportunity qualification, scoring, and prioritization activities.
• Develop solutions to support indicative pricing and estimating processes.
• Integrate workflows with Dynamics 365, including enquiry creation, categorization, approvals, and quotation requests.
• Automate customer communications, reminders, and information requests.
• Create management dashboards and reporting capabilities to improve visibility and performance tracking.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure adoption and successful operational deployment.
