About the Role

We're looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable digital solutions. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement in test automation practices.

  • Location: Leeds or London
  • Schedule: 2/3 days Onsite
  • Duration: 12 months contract
  • Inside IR35
  • Active SC Clearance only

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks and test scripts.
  • Execute UI, API, and integration testing activities.
  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve automation test failures.
  • Contribute to automation strategy, tooling, and best practices.
  • Support quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Skills Required

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Karate, Postman, or SOAPUI.
  • Knowledge of Java or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of Cucumber BDD.
