Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in the United Kingdom. The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation systems for production and logistics processes. Daily tasks include:

  • Configuring and programming control systems
  • Integrating robotics and automated equipment
  • Monitoring process performance
  • Optimizing workflows for efficiency and safety

The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance and production teams, and ensuring minimal downtime. Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills to design, program, and optimize automated production systems.
  • Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve control system and equipment issues.
  • Candidates should possess Robotics and Automation integration skills to implement and maintain robotic solutions within manufacturing processes.
  • Candidates should possess solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively with engineering, production, and maintenance teams.
  • Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably with metal fabrication or similar processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and safety standards in automated systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
