We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Ensure automated systems are working optimally for timely order fulfillment
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair issues with key systems and Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Provide data visualisations of troubleshooting to internal stakeholders
  • Own or actively participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure systems are documented and backup libraries are maintained
  • Install and commission new equipment with global colleagues and support other sites in the EU Controls network

What You'll Need

  • Experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment
  • Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems
  • Engineering Degree (HND, HNC, BTEC, NVQ III/IV/V, Ieng, CEng, ILM L3+, or accredited apprenticeship with qualifications)
  • Fluency in spoken, written, and reading English
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and develop improvement strategies conforming to IEC 61131-3
