An innovative organisation in the life sciences space is looking for a Test Automation Engineer
This role supports the continued digital transformation of a large-scale SaaS product, playing a key role in developing and enhancing automated testing capabilities across a modern technology environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites across web and cloud-based applications.
- Develop automated UI and API tests using modern frameworks such as Playwright.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot to support test development, scripting, and automation.
- Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and improve efficiency across the technology function.

What We're Looking For
- Proven commercial experience in automated quality engineering or SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting, specifically with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience testing modern cloud-based or SaaS applications and API testing.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and CI/CD environments.
