🚨 We're Hiring: Resident Automation Engineer (L2) – Onsite | Crewe, Cheshire, United Kingdom

We are looking for a Dedicated Resident Automation Engineer (L2) to provide onsite operational support for Robotic Standard Automation (RSA) systems at a customer location in Crewe, Cheshire, UK.

πŸ•’ Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • 12-hour onsite shift
  • Full-time Resident Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Linux and Windows Server administration
  • Robotics system maintenance and operational support
  • Industrial control system troubleshooting
  • PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting
  • HMI support
  • Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting
  • Network troubleshooting (Switches, Routers, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Server and infrastructure support
  • System monitoring and health checks
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Preventive maintenance activities
  • Documentation, evidence collection, and reporting
  • Coordination with remote engineering teams
  • Spare parts planning and replacement support
  • On-call support as required

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Robotics, Infrastructure Support, or Manufacturing IT.
  • Experience supporting production environments and automation systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a customer-facing onsite role.
