Role name: Automation Engineer

Location: United Kingdom

Mode: Contract Hybrid: 2 days in a week


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AppViewX, Keyfactor Command, and enterprise certificate lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing AppViewX automation capabilities, integrating workflows with Keyfactor Command, and implementing automated solutions for certificate and PKI management. The role requires strong scripting, API integration, troubleshooting, and process optimization skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain AppViewX automation workflows.
  • Design and implement integrations with Keyfactor Command.
  • Automate PKI and certificate lifecycle management processes.
  • Develop and integrate REST APIs and automated workflows.
  • Create automation scripts using Python and PowerShell.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automation processes and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.
  • Work with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver automation solutions.
  • Support certificate provisioning, renewal, revocation, and deployment processes.
  • Follow DevOps and automation best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in AppViewX automation and integration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Keyfactor Command.
  • Experience with PKI and enterprise certificate lifecycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
  • Good scripting/programming skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
  • Experience developing automated workflows and process orchestration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Understanding of DevOps and automation best practices.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Keyfactor EJBCA / PKI platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
  • Experience with enterprise IAM/security environments.
