Automation Engineer Opportunity
I am currently seeking an Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team for a UK leading FMCG manufacture.
I am looking for a skilled Automation Engineer competent in fault finding & programming PLCs and working with HMI/SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a passion for automation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain PLC programs to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Design and configure HMI/SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of automation systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.

Requirements:
- Minimum level 3 Electrical qualification.
- Proven experience in programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and working with HMI/SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience with other automation technologies such as robotics and motion control is a plus.
