Automation Operations Manager – AI & Power Platform
An Automation Operations Manager is required to join a newly established team within a large, highly regulated organisation undergoing significant digital transformation.
This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for ensuring a growing estate of automation platforms, AI-enabled services and production solutions remains reliable, secure and resilient. You’ll define how these services are supported and continuously improved, while ensuring operational requirements are considered throughout the full solution lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture, integration and platform teams across technologies including Power Platform, RPA, Azure Logic Apps, Alteryx, Copilot agents and Azure AI Foundry.
You’ll act as the senior escalation point for major incidents, take ownership of service performance and ensure effective incident, problem, change and release management. The role will also involve monitoring platform health and capacity, leading root-cause investigations, overseeing operational readiness and maintaining runbooks, support models, audit evidence and service reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
