We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate engineer to play a pivotal role in evolving and securing our client’s enterprise automation and digital platforms. This is an incredible opportunity to drive significant impact, ensuring these critical platforms are robust, scalable, and high-performing. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital operations, working across a diverse technology landscape including automation, AI, integration, and cloud solutions, directly contributing to enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain a diverse portfolio of automation and digital platforms, including Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow/Blue Prism RPA, Alteryx, Copilot Studio, Logic Apps, and Foundry.
  • Administer platform environments, capacity, licensing, role-based access controls (RBAC), connectors, and configurations.
  • Implement and uphold data loss prevention (DLP) policies, identity and access controls, security standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Proactively monitor platform health, connector reliability, bot controllers, workflow runs, API integrations, and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot and expertly resolve platform incidents, performance bottlenecks, integration failures, connector/API changes, and environment degradation.
  • Maintain comprehensive operational runbooks, technical documentation, dashboards, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly leveraging Azure DevOps, to ensure secure and consistent deployments.
  • Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices, including solution packaging, version control, deployment approvals, and environment management.
  • Collaborate closely with automation delivery teams to establish secure deployment practices and consistent development standards.
  • Partner with Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Data Engineering, Data Science, Databricks, Integration, and Architecture teams on platform enhancements and enterprise solutions.
  • Support advanced AI capabilities, including Copilot agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)/graph-based retrieval, model integration, and secure data connections.
  • Champion integration patterns utilizing Logic Apps, APIs, webhooks, Databricks pipelines, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Evaluate and onboard new platform features, connectors, AI capabilities, and integrations to continuously enhance capabilities.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to improve automation platforms, tooling, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute actively to Centre of Excellence (CoE) standards, platform roadmaps, and operational governance.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing environments, DLP, connectors, licensing, and governance.
  • Proven experience supporting cloud-based automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or digital enablement platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services, including Logic Apps, Functions, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Managed Identities.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and ALM, including solution packaging and deployment pipelines.
  • A deep understanding of identity management, RBAC, security controls, DLP, and data governance.
  • Experience with RPA platform operations, ideally Blue Prism or ServiceNow RPA, including controllers and bot scheduling.
  • Familiarity with APIs, various integration patterns, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Understanding of data platforms such as Databricks and Data Lakehouse, with exposure to data pipelines and integrations.
  • Awareness of AI and data integration concepts, including RAG, embeddings, and Azure OpenAI.
  • Familiarity with Copilot Studio and Alteryx.
  • Understanding of data governance principles, including Microsoft Purview, data classification, and lineage.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, demonstrating an understanding of GDPR, ISO 27001, and associated security requirements.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, complemented by excellent documentation and communication abilities.
  • Comfort working across multiple technical domains and collaborating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, AZ-104, or AZ-204, or equivalent.
  • Blue Prism or ServiceNow RPA accreditation.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
  • Prior AI/ML or data engineering experience.

Additional Considerations

  • Willingness to provide support for occasional out-of-hours deployments or maintenance windows.
  • Flexibility to travel to various sites as required.
